About Zvi Sperling

The vice president of Maxim Group Companies, Zvi Sperling has more than four decades of business leadership experience. He joined Maxim Lighting as executive vice president in 1975 after studying at Glendale City College in California. In this capacity, Zvi Sperling handles finance and sales for the business, which was started five years prior by his brother, Jacob Sperling.

Zvi Sperling boasts excellence customer service skills along with a wealth of knowledge relating to both the lighting and business industries. With his brother, he helped the business expand from a 3,000-square-foot building in 1975 to a 50,000-square-foot building by 1980. On top of that, he spearheaded the creation of Lucca Concepts, Inc., and played an integral role in helping both businesses grow to achieve more than $80 million in revenue by the end of 2017.

Today, Mr. Sperling owns 49 percent of Maxim Lighting and 50 percent of Lucca Concepts. He helps oversee more than 150 personnel responsible for serving manufacturing and customer needs for the business. Further, he manages different warehouses, distribution facilities, and offices on the East Coast, and in China, California, and Georgia.
